Mrs. Sarah Bonney Winn, widow of James H. Winn and daughter of the late James H. Bonney, died yesterday at her home 203 West street of paralysis.
Mrs. Winn was born May 30, 1841, at Davenport, Iowa, where she lived until 1851, when she moved to Portage, Wis. She was married there to James H. Winn in 1863. A few years later they went to California where they lived until Mr. Winn’s death in 1891. In March of the same year Mrs. Winn was called to Rockford by the critical illness of her father. Following his death she continued to make Rockford her home.
She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Rockford Woman’s club, Mendelssohn club and the Woman’s Relief Corps. There are no immediate relatives surviving.
