Ervin Newton Emrick, 66, Jonesboro, died Saturday at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. Mr. Emrick was retired from the Emrick Trucking Co. in Jonesboro.
He was born Aug. 4, 1913 in Irvington to Robert and Flora Baker Emrick. He married Mildred Bittle, Nov. 1, 1942 in Chaffee, Mo. He was preceded in death by one sister.
Survivors include the wife; sons, Jeff and Robert; brothers, Lester, Gus, Oliver and Clifford; and sisters, Mable McKee, Amanda Baker and Myrtle Watkins.
Services will be Monday at the chapel of Norris and Son Funeral Home. Burial will be in Jonesboro Cemetery.
