Beatrice "Queen Bea" Nelson, 81, of Lorain went home to be with the Lord and Savior on March 24, 2015 at the Medina General Hospital. Mrs. Nelson was born in Hickman KY., coming to Lorain County at an early age. Mrs. Nelson was employed in the housekeeping department at Palm Crest West Nursing Home, Elyria, retiring after 20 years of service, she was a board member at Lorain Metropolitan Housing Authority and a receptionist at Kennedy Plaza, Lorain. Mrs. Nelson was a member of New Bethel Primitive Baptist Church in Lorain serving with the Nurses Guild. Mrs. Nelson enjoyed baking, bowling, traveling and spending time with family and friends. Mrs. Nelson will be sadly missed by daughters Renee Nelson, Benita Nelson, Rita Nelson, Vanessa (Chris) Nelson all of Elyria, Debra Nelson of Columbus, Ohio, Helen (Irwin) Noel of VA., Yvette (Kevin) Miller of Elyria; son Algie Nelson of Elyria; step children Tanya (Calvin) Douglass of Las Vegas, Michelle Wright of South Carolina; Regina Wright of Toledo, Ohio; Charles Nelson Jr., of Miami Florida; Eric Wright of California; Ronald Wright of Toledo, Ohio; sisters Evelyn Stevens of Elyria; Vernell Noel of Illinois; and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her ex-husband Charles Nelson Sr., Parents Chester and Hattie Noel; daughter Jacqueline Price; son Tyrone Nelson, Dwayne Henson; sister Bernice Jones, Patsy Noel, Jesse Gause, Rosella Bonton; brothers William "Butter Bean" Noel; James "Bubba" Noel, Chester "Sony" Noel Jr., CB Noel, and Preston Pearson.
