He was employed as a machinist with Ford Motor Co. for 21 years, retiring in 1988. He was a 32-year member of Grace Baptist Church and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his wife, Pauline (Clark) Buck, whom he married Nov. 10, 1946; son Duane G. buck of Maxwell; daughters Corine Gibson of Greenfield and Paulette Clare of Mitchel; sisters Delpha Blevins of New Lisbon and Lena McFall of Albany, Ky.; three grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Erlewein Mortuary in Greenfield with the Revs. Larry Summers and Steve Elmer officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield. Friends may call from 4-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
