Sharp, Ted Alan 66 Aug. 12, 1948 Mar. 20, 2015 Ted Alan Sharp, of Keizer, died March 20, 2015. Ted was born Aug. 12, 1948, in Ontario, Ore., to Eugene and Flo Sharp and was raised in New Plymouth, Idaho. He graduated from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics in 1970. He earned his C.P.A. and worked in public accounting for several years, later moving to private industry. While at the UO he met his wife, Marilyn. They married in 1971, and in 1977 welcomed their daughter, Sarah. Ted was an avid skier early in his career, racquetball and golf soon followed as favorite pastimes. Ted and Marilyn loved their early marriage treks following history through central Europe, Russia and the U.S. Later, spring breaks were a favorite on any sunny island, where he enjoyed snorkeling, sunshine and spending time with friends. Ted was surrounded by many caring and loving people in his final days. Survivors include his wife; daughter; sister, Renee Holiday; brothers-in-law, Ron Wilkinson and Marvin Cruickshank with their wives, Karen and Kelly; seven nieces and nephews; and 14 great-nieces and nephews. A funeral Mass and celebration of life will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 31, 2015, at St. Edward's Catholic Church, Keizer. The family respectfully requests memorials be made to the cancer research center of your choice.
