On Monday morning, December 3rd, about 8 o'cloc, Mrs. Catherine Bohnert, residing about four miles north-east of Republic, on the Kilbourn Raod, was found hanging in the stable near her residence dead, with every evidence that she had committed suicide. She has been out of her mind for some time on religious matters, and several weeks previous had attempted to take her life by drowning herself in a pond near-by. She was about fifty-two years of age and leaves a family of four children. She had been divorced from her husband some time previous. -- [Seneca Advertiser.
