Johnny Buchanan, of Farmington, passed away March 27 , 2015 at the age of 58. He was born March 24, 1957 in Bonne Terre to the late John F. and Bessie Buchanan. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Willard Govro.
Johnny was a 1976 graduate of Farmington High School. He went to work for Trimfoot Shoe Company where he worked for many years before going to work for the family dairy farm. Johnny tried his hand at woodworking which became a passion for him. He became a very accomplished woodworker and eventually turned his passion into a successful business, Triple J Custom Hardwood Flooring. He was a jack of all trades who could fix just about anything. In his spare time, he enjoyed hunting, and fishing, especially with his grandchildren. Johnny was a member of Three Rivers Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife of 39 years, Tina (Govro) Buchanan; his children, Jason (Amanda) Buchanan and Joshua (Abby) Buchanan; five grandchildren, Logan, Bryce, Hutson, Cole and Geneva; a sister, Sharon Kay (Albert) Berry; mother-in-law, Barbara Govro; a niece, Julie (Sean) Nephew; great niece, Kayle Nephew; a sister-in-law, Pam (Jim) Link; niece, Dana Link; extended family and many good friends. Also surviving are Johnny's three favorite canine companions, Mugsy, Roxie and Mitze.

Interment at Three Rivers Cemetery.
