Goodwin, Louise 98, of Longwood, passed away February 6, 2014. She was born in Sarasota on May 5 1915. Louise attended school at Ringling Jr College and then transferred to Florida State College for Women (now FSU). She worked for three years as a full time teacher. On June 12 1937, she married Roy Edward Goodwin Sr. They were married for over 57 years. After moving to Longwood in July 1947, she began attending the Longwood First Baptist Church and also worked as a regular substitute teacher in the Altamonte Springs and Longwood Elementary schools. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at Longwood Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Louise's name to Seminole County Meals on Wheels. Collison Family Funeral Homes and Crematory are assisting the family.
