Mrs. Margaret Harris Died Last Evening After Short Sickness.
Mrs. Margaret Harris, one of the older residents of DuBois died last evening at 6:30 o'clock, following an illness of about one week. Last week Mrs. Harris caught a cold, and at her advanced age, her system could not counteract the ravages of the sickness. She grew weaker gradually and passed away quietly at the hour stated. Her death occurred at the Windsor Hotel, where the aged lady had been making her home with her daughter, Mrs. Mary McDonald.
Mrs. Harris was born in County Clair, Ireland, coming to his country when a small girl. The family moved to DuBois from Renovo in 1888 and for several years lived on West Scribner, later moving to North Main street. Mrs. Harris was the mother of ten children, all of those living being quite well known in DuBois, although several of them have not resided here for years. The survivors are: John H, Peoria, Ill.; George F, and Mary, DuBois; C. W. and T. P. of Denver; J. J. of Los Angeles and Mrs. T. J. Clark of Oklahoma City.
Mrs. Harris was a very kindly lady and the friends she made when in active life have always held her in the highest regard and kindly feeling.
The remains will be taken to Driftwood on Monday for interment, where her husband and one son are buried.

Note: Margaret's death certificate lists that she was buried at St. Joseph's Cemetery at Driftwood, PA, but there isn't one named that in that location, but her obituary and the Historical Society verified she is at St. James where her husband is.
