Gary was born November 11, 1944 in Phoenix, Arizona, the son of the late E.V. and Claudia (McGriff) Berry. He married Barbara Faulks on June 3, 2000 in Anson, Texas. Gary was a veteran of the United States Army, and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He was a Baptist.
Gary was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Sammy Berry.
Family left to cherish Gary’s memory and life are his wife, Barbara Berry of Stamford; 3 daughters, Sonya and husband Blake Reid, Samantha Berry, Tanya Berry; a son, Jimbo Whisenhunt and Stephani Emerson; grandchildren, Natasha Reid, J.D. Emerson, Kevin Emerson, Isaac Reid; and a great grandson, Jax Emerson.
