Cindy Buchanan, 55, loving mother and sister, went home to be with her Lord on Thursday, March 12, 2015.

Cindy was born September 21, 1959 in Dallas, Texas and graduated from Bishop Dunne High School.

She went on to graduate with a degree from The University of Texas at Arlington.

Cindy had a passion for spending time with her son Dustin, The Dallas Mavericks, country music, and her pets.

Cindy inspired many with her courageous battle with diabetes since her early childhood.

Cindy will reunite in heaven with her mom, Dorothy Buchanan and her dad, J.D. Buchanan who preceded her in death.

She is survived by her son Dustin; brother Mike and his wife, Alice; sister Pam and her husband, Ed; brother Greg and his wife, Jeannie; brother David and his wife, Kristin; and many nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the SPCA.

Visitation with the family is 6-8pm, (7:00pm, Rosary) Monday, March 16, 2015 at Jaynes Memorial Chapel.

Mass of Christian Burial is 10:00am, Tuesday, March 17, 2015, at Calvary Hill North Chapel, 3235 Lombardy Lane, Dallas.
