THOMAS R. (POP) WILLIAMS, 62, of 826 Philadelphia street, passed away at 7:45 a. m. today at his home, after a lingering illness.
He was born in Lansford, October 17, 1891.
Surviving are: his wife, Effie Trudgeon Williams, and four childern: Mrs. June Hutchinson of Springville, N. Y.; Thomas J. Williams of Bradford; Mrs. Dorothy Montag of Butler, and Mrs. Faye Bliss of North Augusta, S. C.
There five grandchildren, and a twin brother, John E. of Leechburg R. D., and a sister, Mrs. Marrie Kroh of Brookville.
Mr. Williams was with the Pennsylvania Department of Highways in Indiana and was the owner of a Sign Shop. He had also been a dratsman in the Recorders Office in Butler.
Friends will be received at the Bell Funeral Home after 2:00 p. m. Sunday until service time at 2:00 p. m. Tuesday, June 9.
The Rev. Harry Cooley of the Free Methodist Church and the Rev. Howard Cannon of Apollo, will officiate. Interment will be in the Presbyterian Cemetery at Worthington.
He was a member of F. and A. M., Kittanning Lodge.
