Carl was preceded in death by his first wife, Helen Curtis on April 23, 2008 along with, an infant daughter, Teresa Curtis, a grandson, Jacob Curtis, four brothers and five sisters.
Carl achieved two Master’s Degrees, a Master’s of Divinity and a Master’s of Counseling. He lived a life of service which included years of Ministry, school administration and service to his country with the United States Navy during World War II.
Visitation will be Thursday, February 12, 2015 from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO. Funeral Service will be Friday, February 13, 2015 at 10:30 AM at the First Baptist Church of Eldon. Interment will follow at Dry Fork Cemetery near Salem, MO with Full Military Honors. Memorials are suggested to the Missouri Baptist Children’s Home. Arrangements are under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home of Eldon, MO.
