Cartoonist. James O. "Jim" Berry distributed a syndicated editorial cartoon (Berry's World) 365 days a year for more than 40 years. At it's peak of popularity the cartoon was distributed to about 1000 newspapers. The National Headliner Award was presented to Berry in 1967. Berry won the National Cartoonists Society award for Best Special Feature in 1970 and 1972. Berry also received several honors from the American Association of Editorial Cartoonists, and served as president of the AAEC.
