A resident of Pullman Convalescent Center since 1973, Boyd married Ivy Jane Quigg in 1905 in Missouri. They farmed there until 1908 when they moved to Pullman. She died in 1916.
He and Myrtle Mary Duncan were married in February of 1918 at Pullman. She died May 30, 1964. The Boyd farm was six miles east of Pullman. He was a member of the Whelan Grange.
Boyd was born Aug. 30, 1886, at Brownington, Mo., to John and Landora Boyd. He is survived by six sons, Carl Boyd, Harold Boyd, Merrill Boyd, Orval Boyd, Frank Boyd and La Verne Boyd, all of Pullman; a brother Clifford Boyd of King City, Mo.; two sisters, Grace Dody and Ola Potter, both of Clinton, Mo.; 12 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Pullman Baptist Church. Burial will be at Pullman City Cemetery.
