She was a retired employee of the Kroger Company Corporate Office, where she worked for 28 years in grocery merchandising, a charter member of Mt. Washington Historical Society, member of Mt. Washington Senior Citizens, Order of Eastern Star Chapter 552, and First Baptist Church of Mt. Washington. Marianna was a graduate of Shawnee High School, and attended Midway College and Nazareth College. She was an avid gardener, enjoyed playing cards, and spending time with her family.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ves Chancellor; and her companion, Birdie Shelton; and her parents, Colin and Mary Campbell.
Marianna is survived by two daughters, Merigay Small (Steve) and Molly Armstrong (Tim); three sons, David (Susan), Tim (Bonnie), and Colin "Coney" (Rebecca) Chancellor; along with nine grandchildren, Heidi (John) Cantrell, Timothy Chancellor, Amelia Chancellor, Jessie Thompson (Jon), Ves Chancellor (Alex), Chancellor Armstrong, Meri Catherine Small, Colin Chancellor, and Maeve Armstrong; and four great-grandchildren, John Joe, Jackson, Cooper and Violet Elena.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday with burial to follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Sunday.
