WALNUT COVE, NC ~ Teresa Jean Smith Wood, 48, passed away Thursday afternoon, March 26, 2015 at Forsyth Medical Center.
She was born November 30, 1966 in Patrick County, VA to Raymond and Norma Jean Pyrtle Smith.
Mrs. Wood was of the Baptist faith and was a homemaker and she loved to do crafts.
There will be a private family memorial service on Sunday, March 29, 2015.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Norma Jean Pyrtle Smith Fulks.
Teresa is survived by her father, Raymond Smith of Walnut Cove; one daughter, Cramelia Neal and husband Wesley of Rural Hall; stepfather, John Wayne Fulks of Walnut Cove; three sisters, Mary Fulks Ashburn and husband Junior of Walnut Cove, Angela Fulks Dobson and husband Rusty of Walnut Cove, and Diane Fulks Merritt and husband Jimmy of Advance; two brothers, Timothy Glenn Smith and wife Toni of Walnut Cove, and Michael Wayne Fulks and wife Niki of Walnut Cove; two grandchildren, Cameron and Skyler Waddell.
There will be no formal visitation.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvary Hill Baptist Church, 1053 Walnut Cove School Road, Walnut Cove, NC 27052.
