Mrs. Ann B. Aldrich, mother of George I. Aldrich, superintendent of the Brookline public schools, and widow of Charles Aldrich of Manchester, N.H., died at her son's residence, 227 Aspinwall Avenue, Brookline, last night at the age of eighty-seven. Mrs. Aldrich was born at Northbridge, Mass., in 1815, but early in life moved to Manchester, where she resided many years. For the last ten years, she has made her home with her son, with the exception of the period when he was at the head of Springfield public schools. She is survived by one other son, Thomas Aldrich, who resides in New York.

The funeral will be held from her son's home on Aspinwall Avenue Friday at one o'clock. Rev. William H. Lyon, D.D., pastor of the First Unitarian Church, will officiate, and the body will be taken to Manchester, N.H., for burial in the family plot.
