Lela Mae Gordon, 86, of Springfield died Wednesday, April 13, 2005.
She was born April 13, 1919, in Chatham, the daughter of James L. and Myrtle Frey McKnight.
She married Oliver B. Gordon in 1940; he died in 1988.
Mrs. Gordon and her husband owned and operated Ollie and Mae's Tavern for 22 years.
Survivors: three sisters, Mary (husband, Dick) Carlson of Phoenix, Verna Hoskinson and Eileen Matula, both of Springfield; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services: 10 a.m. Saturday, Staab Funeral Home, Charles Lee officiating.
Burial: Roselawn Memorial Park.
