Charlotte Skinner, 67, of Hot Springs Village passed away on March 24, 2015. She was born June 29, 1947 in Fairmont, Minnesota to Chester and Lucille Short.

Charlotte graduated from Granada High School and then from Bemidji State University in Minnesota. She was an elementary teacher who taught school in Minnesota and South Dakota before teaching school for over 30 years in the Dollarway School District in Pine Bluff, AR. She was an admired mentor to student teachers who were entering the teaching profession.

She will be missed by many friends in Pine Bluff, Redfield and Hot Springs Village. While in Hot Springs Village she enjoyed playing cards and taking care of her grandson.

Charlotte is survived by her husband; son of Longview, Texas; daughter; grandson of Maumelle, Arkansas; two brothers and sisters-in-law.

A memorial service in her honor were on Tuesday, April 7th at Christ of the Hills United Methodist Church, with Interment at CedarVale Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to P.E.O. Chapter DC, c/o Barbara Mitchell, 66 Ferdinand Way, Hot Springs Village, AR 71909 or Shreveport Shriners Children's Hospital, 3100 Stamford Ave, Shreveport, LA. 71103.

Arrangements were entrusted to CedarVale Funeral Home.
