"...having been in England about eighteen months, he departed this life in much quietness of mind, the 12th day of 12th mo. (February), 1696/7, and was buried the 15th, in Friends' burial-ground at Mobberley in Cheshire, where his parents and daughters and other relatives had previously been buried. The entry in the Register of Morley Monthly Meeting, in regard to his death and burial, describes him as "Thomas Janney, of Pennsylvania, America, a minister on a visit to this his native Country."
