Ada McDonald. Though it was well known that her condition was critical, the many friends of Mrs. R.H. McDonald of Presque Isle were much shocked and saddened on learning of her death. She had just been removed to her home from the Presque Isle General Hospital where she had been taken for treatment, which it was found necessitated the amputation of one of her legs. In her weakened condition she was unable to rally from the shock. She was born in Castle Hill 10-17-1867 the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Sloat. She was the youngest of 11 children of whom 3 survive. Mrs. Dora Moulton amd Mrs. Lydia Mitchell of Massachusetts and a brother, Allen Sloat of Washburn. She is also survived by her husband and 2 children by a previous marriage, Sidney Robinson of Massachusetts and Rachel Robinson of Presque Isle. Burial Fairmount cemetery.
