Bradley Clinton White "B-White" 60, of Jefferson City Mo. passed away Thursday March 26, 2015 at University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia.

Brad was born on January 23, 1955 in St Louis, Mo. the son of Robert Charles and Betty Lou Wallace White.

A lifelong resident of the Central Missouri area. he served in the United States Navy from 1971-1973.

Brad worked as a corrections officer for the Missouri Department of Corrections for 24 years retiring in January of 2012.

He was a member of Dry Fork Baptist Church near Guthrie Mo.

Brad's main passion in life was music and being a wonderful family man. He played in numerous bands in Central Missouri and played several instruments in those bands. He loved bluegrass music and playing for the elderly at many nursing homes throughout the area.

Survivors include; his wife of 35 years, Vaunitta Matheney, two daughters, Anita Matheney of Centertown Mo. and Mary Clines and husband Bobby of Lake Ozarks Mo. two sisters, Dora Chamber of Jefferson City, and Catherine Ousley of Fulton Mo. three brothers, Randall White and wife Sandy Dixon Mo. Rodney White and wife Norma of Sedalia Mo. and Lawrence White and white Debbie of Linn Mo. nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Brad was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Gerald Matheney, one niece, Autumn Paige Ousley; and one nephew, Cody Thomas Ousley.

Visitation will be held at the Freeman Mortuary from 3-5p.m. Monday March 30, 2015 with a color guard being presented by the Department of Corrections.

A funeral service will be conducted at 5p.m. March 30,2015 in the Freeman Chapel with the Rev. Lewis Curtis officiating. A private interment will be held at Longview Cemetery in Jefferson City Mo.
