Services of Remembrance for Mr. Stroud will be conducted at 11 A.M. Monday, March 30th at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with interment in the Vista Memorial Park Cemetery in New Albany, Mississippi. A visitation for Mr. Stroud will be from 2 to 4 P.M. Sunday, March 29th at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland. Arrangements will be provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center - West Chapel at Oakland.
Mr. Stroud was born July 30, 1949 in Memphis. He was preceded in death by his parents, L.C. Stroud and Hattie Reed Oaks Stroud. He received his education in the Bartlett School System and was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church in Oakland. He enjoyed working on vehicle motors, collecting knives and guns and was talented at working on things with his hands.
Mr. Stroud is survived by his sister Debra Choate (Mike) of Somerville and his brother, Johnny R. Stroud (Brenda) of Memphis.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Phillip Wayne Stroud.
The family requests that memorials be directed to the Bible Baptist Ministries, P.O. Box 383, Martin, TN 38237.
