Linda Jarrell Boone, age 69, died Saturday, March 7, 2015, at her home. She was born on October 11, 1945, to the late Lewis and Dorothy Barker Jarrell.
She is survived by: her husband of 51 years, James Boone; her children, Patrick (Joanna) Boone, of Brooksville, Penny (Ricky) Rust, of St. Cloud, Florida, and Lee (Kathy) Boone, of Foster; nine grandchildren, Haley Boone, Savannah Mains, Holly Merida, Stacey Sears, Ricky Rust, Kaitlyn Rust, Kelsey Boone, Logan Boone and Kavin Boone; one great-grandchild, Ayla Merida; her brothers and sisters, Grover Wayvle Jarrell, of Sardis, Tressia Daylmpe, of Robertson County, Glenn Jarrell, of Orangeburg, Ezra Jarrell, of Germantown, Evelyn Jarrell, of Texas, and Stella French, of Lewisburg. She was preceded in death by: her son, Christopher Lee Boone; a sister, Olvie Kitchen; and a brother, Ivan Jarrell.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday at Palmer Funeral Home, in Germantown. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. There will be a dinner after the funeral at the Germantown Fire Hall, and everyone can bring a covered dish.
