Roger Sevart, 57, of Parsons, died Friday, March 27, 2015 at ViaChristi St. Francis Medical Center in Wichita.

He was born March 5, 1958, in Parsons, to George and Loretta (Jacquinot) Sevart.

He was a lifelong Parsons resident and was employed at Ace Hardware in Parsons.

Roger was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Parsons and was active in Ducks Unlimited and Big Hill Bass Masters.

Survivors include his wife Tammy Sevart of the home, two sons – Chad Sevart (Megan) Bartlesville, OK, Alan Sevart (Naomi) of Wichita, his mother Loretta Sevart of Parsons, two brothers, Rusty Sevart (Iris) of Belton, MO, and Ron Sevart (Diana) of Raymore, MO, four sisters, Cheryl Burke (Leroy) of Galesburg, Carrie Jo Schmid (Ted) of Ellsworth, Jackie Hudson (Neil) of Parsons, and Janelle Weidert (Gary) of Parsons, sister-in-law Christa Sevart of Parsons, mother-in-law Barbara Bartelli (Ozzie) of Parsons and father-in-law Larry Long (Verna) of Seneca, MO.

He was preceded in death by infant twin sons, his father, George Sevart and brother, Dana Sevart.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Parsons.

The Rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m., Tuesday, at the church.

The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall following the Rosary.
