Mrs. Jan Paula Wilson age 74 of Jacksonville passed away at her home, Tuesday, March 24, 2015. She was born in Gainesville on April 21, 1940 to the late Shirley Winston and Nancy Elizabeth (Strickland) Stevens and was a homemaker. Mrs. Wilson had been a resident of Hampton for many years before moving to Jacksonville. She and her husband were missionaries and for many years they would travel and do tent revivals; she was a great cook and enjoyed arts, crafts, and gardening. Mrs. Wilson is survived by her husband of 56 years, Ronald Benton Wilson and five children and their spouses; Clay Wilson and Steve Wilson both of Jacksonville, Beth Silva (Raymond) of Lake Brown Wood, Texas, Tina Tenley (Chris) of Virginia, and Joseph D. Wilson (Teresa) of Austin, Texas. Also left behind is her sister, Shirley Videon of Archer along with numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 29, 2015 at Santa Fe Cemetery with Brother Sparks officiating. Arrangements are under the care of JONES-GALLAGHER FUNERAL HOME, 620 E.
