Carla Ruth Elzey McClain, 53, of Dale, Oklahoma, died Thursday, March 26, 2015 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born September 3, 1961 in Shawnee, Oklahoma to Carl Junior Elzey and Glenda R. Ramsey.

She graduated from Dale High School and later earned two associates degrees. She had worked as an occupational therapist in Midwest City, home health care, Shawnee High School, but most recently at Tinker Air Force Base. She was a member of the Dale Church of Christ. She enjoyed flowers, reading and buying jewelry.

Carla was preceded in death by her grandparents and aunts and uncles. She is survived by her mother, Glenda Ramsey of Dale, father, Carl Junior Elzey and Carmen Gober of Shawnee, two sisters, Shelli Waldrup and husband Jeff of Shawnee and Lisa Dill of Dale and several nieces, nephews, cousins, other family and friends.

Memorial services will be 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at the Dale Church of Christ with Dewayne Thomas officiating.
