Ramona Irene (Gorski) Schneider, age 82, a resident of Grandview Manor, passed away, Sunday, October 6, 2013 at her daughter's residence. Born July 31, 1931 in Findley Lake, N.Y. she was the daughter of Anthony and Helen Marchelski Gorski.
She worked as a plastics assembler as well as a waitress many years ago.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Christopher and William Cole; a grandson, Christopher Cole; two sisters, Dorothy Homoki and Chris Shola; and two brothers, Vernon and Vincent Gorski.
Survivors include two daughters, Monica Teixeira, husband Robert, of Erie and Veronica Blanket-Cole, husband Charles, of Saratoga Springs, N.Y.; three sons, Gregory Cole, wife Brenda, of Erie, Michael Cole, wife Denise, of Las Vegas, Nev., and Vincent Cole of Erie; two brothers, Danny Gorski, wife Marge, of California and Eugene Gorski, wife Hanna, of Findley Lake, N.Y.; a sister, Barbara Fleer of Sun City, Calif; 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Thursday from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Brugger Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1595 West 38th Street at Greengarden Boulevard. Services will be held there on Friday at 9:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Christ our Hope Parish – St. Matthias Site, 1762 French Creek Mina Rd. North Clymer, N.Y. 14767. Burial will follow at St. Matthias Cemetery, French Creek, N.Y.
