Hazel Mae Goodmanson, 81, of
Hawarden died Monday, November 21,
1988 in a hospital in Hawarden.
Services were 10:30 a.m. Wednesday,
November 23, 1988 in the Associated
Church in Hawarden with the Rev.
Fredrich Mellberg officiating. Burial was
in Grace Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Goodmanson, the former Hazel
Mae Younie, was born December 29,
1906, rural Hawarden. She married
Bernard E. Goodmanson March 9,1947,
in Alton. He died June 9, 1969. She
lived most of her life in the Hawarden
area.
Mrs. Goodmanson was an active
member of the Associated Church, had
served as Sunday school superintendent
and teacher for many years and was a
member of the church circle.
Survivors include one daughter, Mrs.
James (Sue) Huenink of Hawarden, and
two granddaughters, Sue Lynn and Angela
Huenink, both of Hawarden.
She was preceded in death by her parents;
an infant son, Dennis; three brothers,
Clarence, Arthur and William
Younie, and a sister, Lillie Jackson.
