Mr. Stephen "Steve" Conner Howell, age 55, husband of Brenda Patrick Howell, of Wilkesboro, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2015, at Wilkes Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 28, 2015, 3:00 PM, at Union United Methodist Church with the Rev. Larry Thompson, Rev. Allen Marsh, and Rev. J. D. Walton officiating. Burial will be in the Bald Mtn. Baptist Church Cemetery in West Jefferson. The family will receive from 2:00 until 3:00 PM prior to the service at the church.
Mr. Howell was born on January 6, 1960 in Ashe County to Edward and Betty Conner Howell. He was a member of Warrensville United Methodist Church and worked at PVH Corporation, in Jonesville, NC.
Mr. Howell was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; James Howell, Rex Howell and five sisters; Geneva Johnson, Janalene Johnson, Avanell Miller, Shirley Campbell and Patricia Reynolds.
In addition to his wife; Brenda; he is survived by three sons; James Howell and wife Beth of Morganton, Stephen Howell and wife, Amber of Wilkesboro and Jake Howell and fiancée, Sara of Wilkesboro, two sisters; Ruth Shepherd and husband, Charles of Kannapolis, Katherine Jennings and husband, Rick of Millers Creek; three brothers; Oren Howell of Piney Creek, Joe Howell and wife, Vickie of China Grove, Wayne Howell and wife, Maria of Purlear, and his furry companions; Hershey, Sadie, Haley and several nieces and nephews.
