On Tuesday, May, 23, 2006, God called our loved one, Priscilla Ann Grogan Turner home to her rest. Priscilla was born in Roanoke, Va. November 2, 1947, the fourth child of Oat and Hannah Grogan. Her parents preceded her in death along with two brothers, George O. Grogan and Tyrone T. Grogan. Priscilla joined High Street Baptist Church at a very early age and remained faithful until her death. She worked for the Roanoke City Schools for over 25 years until she retired on disability. Those left with loving memories of her life are her sons, Wiley L. (Cassandra) Turner III of Roanoke, Va. and Darryl A. (Lynette) Turner of Clinton, Md.; four granddaughters, Danyel Turner, Erika Turner, Faith Turner, all of Roanoke, Va., and Deniek Turner of Clinton, Md.; two sisters, Marion Sue Turpin of Washington, D.C. and Tina C. Allredd of Roanoke, Va.; one brother, Perry L. Grogan of Roanoke, Va.; her mother-in-law, Mrs. Martha Turner; brothers-in-law, Richard E. (Virginia) Turner, Ronald L. Turner and Michael A. Turner, all of Roanoke, Va.; sister-in-law, Diane B. Grogan of Atlanta, Ga.; and a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be 12 noon Saturday, May 27, 2006 at High Street Baptist Church with the Rev. David L. Chapman officiating. The interment will be at Williams Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral service. Friends may call on Friday, May 26, 2006 for viewing at Hamlar-Curtis Funeral Home.
