"Thomas David Frye, 89, died Monday, March 25, 1996 at a hospital in Fort Worth, Texas.

He was born in Oregon, MO., January 31, 1907, the son of Paul T. and Cora Ellen (Young) Frye. Mr. Frye graduated from Oregon High School in 1926 and the former Platte Business School, St. Joseph. In 1934, he moved to Fort Worth, Texas.

He also resided in Midland, Texas prior to moving to Stephenville, Texas in 1972, and returning to Fort Worth in 1993.

Mr. Frye served in the Army during World War II. he was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Stephenville and the American Association of Petroleum Landment. He retired in 1972 after many years of employment in the land Department of Texaco, Inc. in Forth Worth and Midland, Texas.

His wife, Elizabeth (Price) Frye preceded him in death on march 19, 1986.

A brother, Joseph Paul Frye, Sun City West, Arizona survives.

Graveside services and burial will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 28 in Maple Grove Cemetery, Oregon.

The Breit and Hawkins Funeral Home, Savannah are in charge of arrangements."
