Donald Lee Cassidy, 71, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2015. He was born in Myrtle Beach, SC, the son of Donald and Mildred Cassidy.

Don grew up in West Newton, Indiana and went to Evansville College. Don had served in the U.S. Army National Guard, was the part owner of L.C. Cassidy and Son Insulation, and was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church.

Don is survived by his wife in Richmond, KY., 2 daughters,3 grandchildren, 1 sister

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, March 28th at 11am at Milward-Southland Drive. Visitation will be from 10am until time of service. There will be a memorial gathering to follow the memorial service at the funeral home until 1pm. Memorial contributions are suggested to Hospice of the Bluegrass.

Don was not a pilot as mistakenly stated in the eulogy as he never got his private pilot's license.

Don also attended Parsons College after Evansville College. He did not graduate from College as also mistakenly stated in the obituary.

L.C. Cassidy and Sons was founded by Leo Clayton Cassidy in 1934. In the early 1960's his son, Don Cassidy (the father of this Don Cassidy), bought out the business in Indiana and it became L.C. Cassidy and Son. L.C. Cassidy and Son was closed down by the State of Indiana before this Don's father's estate was settled.

He was not a Jr.
