Mrs. Connie Lee Berry, age 68 of 110 North 4th Street, Lockhart, widow of Albert Jennings, Sr., passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Spartanburg Hospital Restorative Care.
Mrs. Berry was born in Union, SC November 27, 1946, a daughter of the late Carl Fuller Berry and Jessie Lee Sanders Berry. She retired from Milliken & Company and was a member of Union Church of God.
Surviving are a daughter, Kimberly ""Sissy" Jennings of Union and Albert "Cooter" Jennings, Jr. and wife Pamela of Lockhart; four grandchildren: Crystal Jennings, Bradley Jennings, Ashley Jennings and Dustin Jennings; five great-grandchildren: Holden Lipford, Caiden Jennings, Jacob Queen, Brayden Jennings and Kensley "Faith" Roof; two brothers: Carl F. Berry and wife Margaret of Rock Hill and Donnie Berry of Union and a number of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Berry was predeceased by a sister, Linda Fisher.
Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Friday, March 27, 2015 at the Lockhart Cemetery conducted by Rev. Rick Sturgis.
Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 PM Thursday evening at the SR Holcombe Funeral Home.
The family would like to say "Thank You" to the nurses and staff of Spartanburg Hospital Restorative Care for their care of Mrs. Berry.
The family will be at the home of her daughter, Sissy Jennings, 304 W. South Street, Union and also at the home of her granddaughter, Ashley Jennings, 308 Mill Street, Lockhart.
