James H. Calvert, 80, of Columbia died Sunday, Jan. 25, 2015.
James retired from Columbia Public Schools after 37 years of service.
Survivors include daughter Leslie Wylie of Boonville, sister Ethel Brightwell of Harrisburg, friend and caretaker Wanda Nowlin, and dog Rocky.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 7, at First Assembly of God with the Rev. Tracy Cook officiating and burial at Nashville Cemetery in Boone County.
