He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, watching TV, tinkering with different projects, loved inventing things and ideas, and was a Baptist by faith.
He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Minnie "Sharon" Rabren Wilson of Phenix City, AL, daughters, Denise Riley and Yolonda McCann, both of Phenix City, AL, sons, Edgar Wilson and wife Gracie of Salem, AL, and Lemuel Newsome and wife Tara of Columbus, GA; sisters, Juliette Day of Columbus, GA, and Mary Nell Ekert of Phenix City, AL,
