Jimmy Dale Adams, son of the late Robert Lee Adams and Ora Young Adams Townsend, was born on January 18, 1942 in La Forge, Missouri and departed this life on March 25, 2015 at his residence in Bernie, Missouri at the age of 73.

Mr. Adams was a member of the Calvary Apostolic Church in Kennett, Missouri. He was retired from the ministry and a member of the Worldwide Pentecostal Fellowship. He was a veteran of the United States Army.

On May 25, 1967, he was united in marriage to Terry Cowsert in Dexter. Mrs. Adams survives of the home.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Richard Adams of Peoria, Illinois and Dan Adams of Clinton, Illinois; by one daughter, Jennifer Wolpers of Dexter; by four brothers, Bob Adams of Bernie, Harold Adams of Hanna City, Illinois, Larry Adams of Dexter and Gerald Adams of Meadville, Mississippi; and by five grandchildren, Roman, Ethan, Trevor, Allison and Layla.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Myrna Kay Adams.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Friday, March 27, 2015 from 11:30 A.M. to 1:30 P.M. Funeral services will be conducted in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel on Friday, March 27, 2015 at 1:30 with Rev. James Lashley and Rev. David Henderson officiating. Interment will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
