Clara Marie Pryor, 94, of Williamsport, MD, passed away on Monday, March 23, 2015, at Meritus Medical Center.
She was born, March 3, 1921, in Williamsport, MD, to the late Leslie Summers and Iva Ellen Flora Stenger.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilson Perishing Pryor, on January 5, 1998.
She was a 1939 graduate of Williamsport High School.
She was a Homemaker.
She was a lifelong member of Williamsport United Methodist Church Williamsport, MD. She served as Treasurer of the Adult Fellowship Class.
Clara crocheted hundreds of shawls for their prayer shawl ministry.
She is survived by her daughter, Diana M. Kiser and her husband, Lyle, of Hinton, VA; a son, Gary W. Pryor and his wife, Cheryl, of Middletown, MD; three sisters, Irene Shank, Bernice Boyd and Marcelyn Forsythe, all of Williamsport, MD; grandchildren, Brad Kiser and his wife, Melanie, of Harrisonburg, VA, Matt Kiser and his wife, Shelley, of Hinton, VA, Erin Gollogly and her husband, John, of Boonsboro, MD, and Stephanie Harvey of Boonsboro, MD; great-grandchildren, Brandon, Michael, Madison, Caleb, Trent, Stacia, Noah, Sean, Phoenix and Jonah; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a sister, Mildred McKee, and a brother, Leslie Stenger.
Funeral services will be held at Osborne Funeral Home, 425 S. Conococheague St., Williamsport, MD, on Friday, March 27, 2015, at 11 a.m., with Rev. Susan Boehl officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. The funeral home will be open after 9 a.m. on Friday for the convenience of family and friends. Interment will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Williamsport, MD.
