Holly Ann Jones, age 51, resident of Memphis and co-owner of Tucker Cooker Company, departed this life Tuesday afternoon, March 24, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis.
Services of Remembrance for Ms. Jones will be conducted at 10 A.M. Friday, March 27th at the Peebles West Funeral Chapel at Oakland with visitation one hour before services. Interment will follow in the Arlington City Cemetery. Arrangements will be provided by Peebles Fayette County Funeral Homes & Cremation Center – West Chapel at Oakland.
Ms. Jones was born November 19, 1963 in Memphis. She was preceded in death by her parents, J.T. Jones and the former Peggy Nelson. She received her education at Bartlett High School and was of the Church of Christ faith. She was the co-owner of Tucker Cooker Company in Memphis and enjoyed pets, going to barbecue cookoffs and special times with her family. Her family states that she enjoyed the “simple life”.
Ms. Jones is survived by her stepmother, Betty Jones of Arlington; her sister, Sherry Crook (Tommy) of Arlington; her brother, Harry Jones (Delores) of Arlington; her nieces, Rebecca Jones, Peggy Jones, Kaitlyn Jones, Joellen Crook; and her nephews, Jeffrey Crook and Joshua Crook.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Deborah Wiseman and Donna Akin.
Those honored to serve as casketbearers will include George Karcher, J.T. Stegall and Jeffrey Crook.
The family requests that memorials be directed to the Humane Society of Memphis, 935 Farm Road, Memphis, TN 38134.
