Carol Ruth Jordan Wallace was born April 7, 1934, to Sam Jordan and Mildred Martin Jordan in Kansas City, Missouri. She was the oldest of five children. Her mother, father, one brother, Carlin "Baby" Jordan, one sister, Peggy Jordan preceded her in death. Her husband, Cozy Wallace, Sr. also preceded her in death.
Carol attended W. W. Yates Elementary School, R. T. Coles and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1952. She was employed by Woodley's Building Maintenance and St. Mary's Hospital.
Mrs. Wallace departed this earthly life on Monday, March 17, 2015, at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri.
She leaves to cherish her loving memory: six children, Richard (Ida) Wallace, Ronald (Lee) Wallace, Jeffrie (Robert) Isaiah, Cozy Wallace, Jr., Tracy (Mary) Wallace and Kellee Wallace; one brother, Gerald Jordan; one sister, DeLoise McCain; fifteen grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Services for Mrs. Wallace were held Thursday, March 26, 2015, at E. S. Eley & Sons Funeral Chapel North with Pastor Joseph Fletcher of Greater Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church officiating.
