Stella M. Thomas, 85, St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Monday, March 23, 2015 in Blue Springs, Missouri.
She was born August 9, 1929 to William and Verda Croft in St. Joseph, Missouri.
Mrs. Thomas married Benjamin “Deane” Thomas on September 15, 1951. He preceded her in death on May 11, 1983
She was a member of South Park United Methodist Church and loved reading and dancing.
Stella was also preceded in death by her parents; half – brothers, Richard Babcock and James Fischer; half – sisters, Georgia Davis and May Morehouse; grandson, Zachary Thomas; and special friend and companion, Archie Anderson. Survivors include sons, Donald Thomas (Dianne) and Richard Thomas; daughter, Sheryl Ciolek (Michael); grandchildren, Danielle Woolsey, Aubrey Smith (Steve), Jennifer and Christopher (Brittany) Thomas; great-granddaughters, Jadyn, Jewel, Teva and Arianna Thomas and Syndi Smith; and several nieces and nephews.
