Anna Maude Blades, 97 of Nortonville went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at Baptist Health, Madisonville. She was born August 31, 1917 in Hopkins Co. to the late Earl and Beulah Fletcher Sisk. Anna Maude was a faithful member of New Salem Baptist Church in Nortonville.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Blades and five sisters and three brothers.
She is survived by two daughters, Myrna Scott of Nortonville, and Dorothy (Bobby) Farmer of Madisonville; two sons, Tommy (Brenda) Blades of Dawson Springs and Larry (Marsha) Blades of St. Charles; one sister, Sue (Houston) Hopper of Portage, IN; one brother, Don (Virginia) Sisk of Chattanooga, TN; and ten grandchildren, twenty one great grandchildren, and nine great-great grandchildren.
Services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. at Bandy Funeral Home, Nortonville with Bro. Don Sisk and Bro. Steve Rutherford officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. till service time. Burial will be in New Salem Cemetery, Nortonville. Her grandsons will be her pall bearers.
