An old pioneer formerly of this vicinity but for the last few years a resident of Ottawa, in the person of the late William B. Bradley, passed to his eternal reward on Wednesday last. His health had not been the best for some time and his death finally was the result of a fall down stairs. His remains were conveyed to the third line of Huntley Methodist cemetery on Friday last and interred in the family plot beside his first wife, who before marriage was Miss Hannah Caldwell, who predeceased her husband 37 years ago. The late Mr. Bradley is survived by his second wife a number of grandchildren, also one brother, Mr. Fred Bradley of Huntley; and four sisters, Mrs. James Cowan, Mrs. H.W. and Mrs. S.H. Richardson, and Mrs. Sam Mooney. The pallbearers were five of his nephews, namely, Messrs. Warner, Fred, Clifford, Russell and Willie Bradley, and Mr. Albert Bradley. Deceased was a Methodist in religion. He was very well known in this community, having conducted a carding mill for a great many years in Huntley, where he carried on an extensive business beside the old homestead, formerly known as Bradleyville.
