Lockard Peel, aged 77, died last evening at 4:15 p.m. at the home of his son, Charles Peel on the T. H. Dillon farm four miles north of this city, near Dennis. The cause of death was senile trouble from which he had suffered for years.
Mr. Peel was born July 2, 1824 and he is survived by his wife and four children. The funeral will be held at 4 p.m. tomorrow afternoon and interment will be in Dale cemetery.

Please note, there was another Lockard Peel that was a Civil War solider, ours was not. I sent for his military records. He is not ours. Do not make the same mistake.
