DIED FRIDAY--Mrs. Sarah Phillips, aged 38 years, passed away Friday at the home 2 1/2 miles north of Mansfield. Death resulted from tuberculosis, from which she had been a constant sufferer for the past 4 years.
The family is from West Virginia and had been here only a few months. Mr. Phillips had traveled extensively in hopes that a change of climate would benefit Mrs. Phillip's health, but all to no avail. All that medical science could do was unable to stay the ravages of the dreaded disease.
Interment was in the Hensley Cemetery two miles north of Mansfield.
A husband, four children and many other relatives and friends are left to mourn her loss. The Mirror joins in extending sympathy to the bereaved family.
OBITUARY--Mrs. Sarah Phillips, wife of Jesse Phillips, born January 5, 1875 departed this life Friday morning, February 21, 1913. She belonged to the Missionary Baptist church 12 years and 8 months. She died happy, saying three times in sucession, "I am going to glory" and the body was lifeless. She leaves four small children, three boys and a girl and a loving, lonely husband. The funeral service was conducted by Andrew Ross. May God's richest blessings rest on the bereaved.
