Quentin R. Allen, 64, of Rt. 1, Brodhead, died Saturday. October 25, 1997 at the Rockcastle Hospital. He was born in Rockcastle County on May 29, 1933 the son of George and Mamie Adams Allen. He was a member of the Ottawa Baptist Church and veteran of the Korean War.

Survivors are his wife, Joanna Norton Allen of Brodhead; two sons, Larry Allen and wife, Joyce and Jerry Allen and wife, Peggy, both of Brodhead; two daughters, Connie Wilson and her husband, Bobby of Junction City and Diane smith and husband, Chad of Crab Orchard and 11 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Johnny Allen and his twin brother, Clinton Allen.

Services were Tuesday, October 28, at Dowell and Martin Funeral Home with Bro. Rick Reynolds officiating. Burial was in the Ottawa Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Bobby Wilson, Donnie Adams, Chad Smith, Jason Allen, Billy Norton, Lonnie Brown and Don Hopkins.
