Ruth G. Clark was born September 3, 1911, in Bemidji, Minnesota, to Andrew and Grave (nee Davis) DeBord. She lived in Mahnomen with her family until age twelve, when her mother passed away. After this, she lived in a Wisconsin orphanage before moving to Elk River to live with her foster father, Herbert Emerson. In 1940, she married LeRoy Walker in Red Lake Falls, Minnesota. They lived in Thief River Falls and Sterling, Colorado. LeRoy passed away in 1955. Ruth then married Ervin Clark in Sterling, Colorado, on December 12, 1958. She moved to the Princeton, Minnesota area in 1967 after LeRoy's passing. In 1980, she moved to the Zimmerman, Minnesota area before moving into the Elim Home. She passed away at age 85 at the Elim Home in Princeton, Minnesota. Survived by children, brothers, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. Preceded in death by husbands, daughter, and two siblings.
