Mrs. Eleanor "Liz" Frost, 83 of Adel, Georgia passed away
February 11, 2015 at Cook Medical Center in Adel. She was
born February 9, 1932 in Emmanuel County to the late Ross
and Isabelle Smith Tapley. Mrs. Frost lived in Cook County since 1977, was a homemaker and member of the Springhead Baptist Church. She also had memberships in the Dixie Chapter of the United Daughters of the Confederacy, The SouthernDames of America, and the Brushy Creek Chapter of Daughters of the Indian Wars.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Mr. Emitte O.
Frost of Adel; her son, Emory Frost of Adel; a son and daughter-in-law, Emitte "Chip" and Francis Frost of Reno, Nevada;a daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Jim Van-Curen of Vacaville, California; five grandchildren: Rachel Gamble of Virginia,Patrick Van-Curen of Bahrain, Leslie Frost of Reno ,Nevada, Evan Frost of Sparks, Georgia, and Danniell Frost of Reno; four great grandchildren; and two brothers: Earl Tapley of Waycross, Georgia and Joe Terrell Tapley of Colbert, Georgia.She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Emiranda Frost.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 15,
2015 at Springhead Baptist Church with Rev. Joey Taylor officiating; her children, Emory Frost and Joyce Van-Curen provided family remembrances. Interment followed at Woodlawn Cemetery Annex. Evan Frost, Stanley Storey, Buddy Griffin,Jerry Permenter, Randy Lane, and Steven Lynn served as pallbearers.
