Kenneth L. (Red) Oberbruner, age 72, of Burlington, died on September 6, 1991, at home. He was born on October 5, 1918, in Ashland, Wisconsin, the son of Robert and Margaret Oberbruner. He graduatedin 1932 from De Padua High School, and earned his Bachelors degree from Notre Dame, and Masters degree from University of Wisconsin- Madison. He married Ruth Patricia Licher on October 25, 1947, at St. Thomas Church in Beloit, Wisconsin. Kenneth was the Athletic Director for Milton College for 24 years, and since 1970 had been the UW-Parkside Ranger Baseball Coach and a resident of Burlington. He was a member of St. Charles Church, High School Coaches Association, National Association Intercollegiate Athletics, NCAA Division II Baseball Coach, Wisconsin High School Coaches Hall of Fame, and the Milton College Hall of Fame. He also served in the Pacific during World War II from 1942 until 1945.
